Career Exploration

"To do more for the world than the world does for you, that is success." - Henry Ford

Do you have time and an interest in helping and mentoring McKinleyville High School students this school year? We are recruiting community adults to serve as career exploration mentors in a number of different programs. You can join us as a guest on a career or leadership panel, host a group of students for a field trip tour of your workplace, host one or two students for a Job Shadow (2 hours to a full work day long), or be available to meet with a student for a cup of coffee to offer career insight and information. As a volunteer mentor, we will provide you with detailed guidelines and information to ensure that you are well prepared to work with students.

Here is the volunteering form. For more information, please contact Jim Ritter at (707) 498-2917, or [email protected]. Thank you for your support of our students.
