hey good morning McKinleyville high school and happy Friday I hope this message finds you well as we're now finishing up our our second week of school closure.  Hope Google Classrooms are rolling along for ya, I will be sending out some more information this afternoon but I just appreciate all the feedback that I've heard so far we're out here in the in the quad its a little empty, it definately speaks to missing all of you but I did want to share with you our sources of strength wheel that got put up thanks to Mr. Reeves and Mr. Evans and a lot of students so we're proud of that and I think that having sources of strength at this time is something to really be thinking about for some fun stuff wanted to share with you I got some feedback from our questions from Monday the most popular show that came up...speaking about watching All American so that apparently is a good show to watch I haven't seen it yet, ...was going back in time watching Grey's Anatomy, and ...is recommending The Marvelous Miss Maisel so those are some shows out there that I think we are either binge watching or starting to watch, as far as supporting some local businesses I think that the big idea that came out is if you can and are able to buy gift cards from our local businesses and something that I think helps them during this time also heard a lot of shoutouts to Six Rivers Brewery for their takeout including fried chicken on Thursday and Seascape also got a shout-out for having some good takeout food so if you're able to, during this time, support local buisnesses let's do that I will be putting up a list of our shows and supports of our local businesses up on our website hopefully by this afternoon and finally I think ya know yesterday I sent out a message from our nurse Johnny Kell just about Social Distancing and I just want to reitterate to all of our students, you know we care about you a lot and we care about our community a lot as I know all of you do so please be safe, really consider the guidelines that have been set out there about shelter in place I know it's hard to be cooped up in the house all day but just really want to encourage all of us to take care of one another so we can get back to being here on campus and out doing other things sooner rather than later with that wish you all a great weekend look for a robocall and some emails from me a little bit later but just want to say happy Friday, miss you all hope to see you soon, take care
