McKinleyville High School is one of two comprehensive high schools in the Northern Humboldt Union High School District.  The school serves a broad area in northern Humboldt County with a total of five associate school districts: Big Lagoon, Fieldbrook, McKinleyville, Orick and Trinidad. Staff at McKinleyville High School understands their responsibility to ensure that every student has access to quality education and support services designed to meet individual needs. By working collaboratively with parents, students, community, Board of Trustees and District administration, programs are designed and implemented around the needs of the student.
