hey good morning McKinleyville high school and happy Monday I hope this message finds you all doing well as we're heading into our second week of closure as promised wanted to keep the videos going supposed to be on Monday weekly announcements and I got a couple of them today's the first day where teachers are we sending out assignments over Google Classroom so students if you haven't already please check your email and also I log into Google Classroom if you don't know how to if you go to our website there's instructions on how to do that under distance on the top bar there's a new place it says distance and there's some ideas under there or you can also click on supports our resources on the front page if you do how the device ring Behemoth out today so freshman if you come the library between 9:30 and 10:30 will be checking those out sophomores 10:30 to 11:30 Juniors 11:30 to 12:30 or 12:30 to 1:30 once again for folks that don't have a laptop we want to make sure everybody has one can get on Google classroom and we'll get going please use this week to get used to using Google classroom and in getting support your student that needs a hotspot as well as a device will be contacting you as soon as those hot spots come in and I will make sure as well that you have the time to get caught up on any assignments I finally just for some fun got a chance to look at everybody's email thanks for all the responses to keep us connected awesome awesome music I got to give a big shout-out to Jack Sasso for Never Going To Give You Up by Rick Astley is the song that is helping him get through if you have never heard that song go check it out and look for a song I never heard but felt like you had a great was a nice relaxing song by Dakota Anderson Spirit recommended West Coast love and that was great as well if you go onto our website on under the distance bar I did MHS closure list actually put our playlist up there actually created but all the songs albums and stations are you listening to her posted. So keep those coming sounds like we're missing each other Mac High friends teachers students are both we're definitely missing one another and so hopefully this will get back to the campus sooner rather than later and then finally with things people are doing during the school closure don't look a lot of sleep and some other creative things fish what going for walks but sleeping was was definitely the biggest one or getting some extra sleep so here's this week's questions for you number one stay connected I learned last week how to use Google Hangout does a great way to hold meetings and then check in with folks on how was your creative ways of staying connected and social distancing number to what's a movie or a TV show that you have either washed or binge watch you're starting to watch I can tell you that my wife and I showed her boys the 1989 Batman which the fifth grade year old colored loved the colored boys now thought it was average my last call Euphoria is I know that this time while we're closed is it is difficult for everybody for a lot of reasons the local businesses are especially if it's got to be difficult as we're being asked to shelter in place and for the most part stay closed I want to let you know that my can I love Los Bagels we found out they deliver to your house so we've enjoyed that we've also heard that sushi spot is open and has a sushi platter would like 15% off my last question to you is what are what are local business deals ways we can support local businesses that you're aware of if you share those to me through email I'll get those posted up and miss you all very much I hope to see you all soon
